The Ricoh IM C4510SD is the Seamless Digitalization variant of the IM C4510 — same 45-ppm A3 color print engine, same chassis, but with a 300-sheet straight-path single-pass duplex feeder swapped in for the standard 220-sheet U-turn SPDF. It's positioned for production-adjacent and scan-heavy departments of 40-90 users — claims processing, records, accounts payable, legal intake — where the 300-sheet straight-path scanner is the difference between getting the day's work done and reloading the feeder every 15 minutes. Print and copy speeds are 45 ppm in both black and color at 1200 x 1200 dpi; first-page-out is 3.2 sec B&W / 5.2 sec color. Duty cycle is rated to 175,000 pages/month with a recommended monthly volume around 18,000. Standard paper capacity is 1,200 sheets (2 x 550 trays plus 100-sheet bypass), expandable to 4,700 with optional banks and the 2,000-sheet side LCIT. TPM 2.0 hardware encryption ships standard. The 10.1" Smart Operation Panel and Always Current Technology firmware match the rest of the IM lineup. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB; Wi-Fi/NFC/Bluetooth are optional. The thing buyers regret: paying the SD premium when their actual scan volume doesn't justify the 300-sheet straight-path feeder — if you scan under 300 pages a day in batches, the standard IM C4510 is plenty.
