The Ricoh Aficio MP C3501 is a 35 ppm A3 color laser MFP from Ricoh's enterprise C3001/C3501/C4501/C5501 platform (circa 2011) — the most-deployed Ricoh color enterprise chassis of its era. It prints and copies at 35 ppm in mono and color up to 12x18, runs auto duplex standard, ships with a 100-sheet reversing ADF and 8.5-inch color WVGA touchscreen, and has dual 550-sheet drawers (1,200-sheet base capacity with bypass) expandable to 4,700 with optional LCT and tandem trays. The 200,000-page monthly duty cycle and durable engine put this squarely in the 7,000-20,000 page/month range for departments of 25-60 people. We still see these in heavy use at schools, county offices, and mid-size law firms — bought new 2012-2014 and the engine routinely passes 1M pages with regular PMs. The thing buyers regret today: end-of-service from Ricoh, the GW controller is from the pre-Smart Operation Panel era and security won't pass a current IT audit. For a current equivalent at this speed, get the IM C3500.
