The Ricoh Aficio MP C2051 is a 20 ppm compact A3 color laser MFP from Ricoh's C2051/C2551 platform (circa 2012). It prints and copies at 20 ppm in mono and color up to 11x17, with auto duplex standard, a 50-sheet reversing ADF, dual 250-sheet drawers (600-sheet base capacity with bypass), and a 4.3-inch color touchscreen. The 30,000-page monthly duty cycle and small footprint make it a fit for offices of 3-10 people running 800-3,000 pages a month. Compared to the older C2030/C2050, the C2051 added USB and SD card slots on the operator panel for scan-to-media and walk-up printing, and the GW controller picked up a few security and protocol updates. The thing buyers regret: 11x17 max — it does not handle 12x18, so if your work includes bleed-area marketing prints you need the C2030/C2050 chassis or a newer IM C2510. End-of-service from Ricoh now, but the platform is durable and aftermarket parts and toner are still readily available. For a current equivalent at this speed, get the IM C2010.
