The Oce PlotWave 500 is the workhorse mid-volume monochrome plotter, running 10 D-size or 5 E-size pages per minute with a 16-19 second warm-up. LED electrophotography with Radiant Fusing keeps power use down and emissions low. Standard 2 rolls, expandable to 4, holding up to 7,800 square feet of media before reload, which is the kind of capacity that matters when an operator is feeding a job-site set on a Friday afternoon. Integrated Oce Scanner Express II handles wide-format originals at color or B&W. The ClearConnect multi-touch UI is the same family interface that runs across all PlotWaves. Cloud, USB, and mobile printing supported. Optional Top Delivery Tray, 2400 FanFold, and 4312 FullFold turn raw prints into ready-to-ship sets. Sweet spot is 800 to 3,000 D-size prints monthly.
