  • You don't yet have a calibration workflow — the Z6 Pro doesn't include the embedded spectrophotometer (that's the Z9+ Pro and the Z6810); plan for an external i1 if you need ICC profiling.

The big practical wins versus older Z-series: the spindle-less roll feed (drop in, no spindle alignment), the optional Multifunction Roll accessory that adds a second automatic roll or a take-up reel, and improved long-term print-to-print repeatability under 0.5 dE2000 average. Standard memory is 86 GB file processing on 4 GB RAM with a 500 GB self-encrypting hard disk. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet only — no Wi-Fi. PostScript and PDF require the optional 7HC76A upgrade kit. The thing buyers regret: confusing this with the Z9+ Pro.
