The Canon (Oce) Arizona 1280 XT is the extra-large-bed 8-channel UV flatbed in the Arizona 1200 series — a mid-volume true flatbed for shops that need photo-grade rigid output on full 4 x 8 ft sheets and larger, up to 98.4 x 121.3 in. (8 x 10 ft). It uses the same VariaDot piezoelectric printhead architecture as the 1280 GT, with 8 channels typically configured CMYK + LC/LM + white + varnish in one setup. Variable droplet sizes from 6 to 42 picoliters get you visual quality comparable to 1,440 dpi. Top speed is up to ~35 m²/hr (~377 sq ft/hr) in Express mode. The XT bed adds 10 pneumatic registration pins for fast, repeatable double-sided rigid printing and handles media up to 50.8 mm (2 in.) thick. UV-LED instant curing, no warm-up time. We sell the 1280 XT to shops doing 500-2,000 sq ft per day on a mix of fine art reproduction, exhibition graphics, retail POP, and packaging mockups where the print size needs to stay edge-to-edge on a full 4 x 8 sheet.
