It runs at 90 ppm with 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, scans at 240 ipm duplex via the 220-sheet single-pass ADF, and is rated for a 300,000-page monthly duty cycle (realistic comfort zone is 100,000-200,000 pages/month). First copy out is 4.2 seconds. Standard paper capacity is 1,200 sheets, expandable up to 8,700 with tandem and side LCTs — enough to leave a multi-day production run and not babysit it. The 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel runs the same Android-based UI as the rest of the IM family, so operators are not relearning the workflow. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 standard; Wi-Fi is optional. Same chassis as the IM 7000 and IM 8000 (27.2 x 34.8 x 45.7 inches, 441 lb), same full finisher options, just different print engine speeds across the three.
