The imageRUNNER PRO 7150VP is the top of Canon's 7100 series — a 150 ppm B/W single-function production press at 1200 x 1200 dpi with 256-level grayscale, enhanced by GRET and SPD for near-lithographic quality. Monthly duty is up to 5 million impressions and standard capacity runs 4,000-8,000 sheets, expandable to 12,000 for the longest jobs. The UNIX-based controller adds print-while-RIP and advanced multi-feed detection to keep downtime low, and inline finishing scales to perfect binding, saddle-stitch, stapling, and high-capacity stack. The 12,000-sheet capacity comes from optional POD decks added to the 4,000-8,000 sheet standard module. Footprint is roughly 60 x 32 inches and weight is around 1,150 lb on the production stand. Power requirements are 208-240 V at 30 A. EFI Fiery controller options expand workflow integration with PDF/X, ICC profiles, and color management.
