It's built for small workgroups (10-30 users) that produce stapled multi-page packets every day and want walk-up stapling without a separate finisher. Print and copy speeds are 75 ppm letter (59 ppm legal), first copy out in 5 seconds. Standard paper capacity is 650 sheets (550-sheet cassette + 100-sheet bypass), max 3,300 sheets with the optional HCFU. The single-pass DPF runs 200 ipm in duplex. Scan-to-everything is standard: SMB, FTP, WebDAV, email, IFAX, Office Open XML. Super G3 fax is built in.
