Is this the right printer for you?

Who the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6575i II is actually for

Most printer pages just tell you what a printer does. Here's the honest version: when this machine is the right choice, when it's fine, and when you should look at something else. We sell a lot of these for a reason, but the reason is not "every office."

Best fit

Pick this if...

  • You need A3 B&W at 100,000-250,000 pages monthly for enterprise or shared print rooms.
  • You handle two-sided originals constantly and want duplex DADF.
  • You want booklet making, stapling, hole punch, and trim via Saddle Finisher.
  • You require McAfee Embedded Control and AES encryption.
  • You're buying refurbished with 24-month toner locked.
Works fine

You'll be happy if...

  • It's fine if you print 60,000-100,000 pages monthly with headroom.
  • It's fine if you skip the Saddle Finisher for a smaller config.
  • It's fine if you mostly print letter with tabloid as occasional.
  • It's fine if you stick with wired Ethernet.
Look elsewhere

Skip this if...

  • Skip this if you need uniFLOW Online and current-gen DX features.
  • Skip this if you need color.
  • Skip this if you want a workgroup-sized unit.
  • Skip this if you print under 30,000 pages monthly.
  • Skip this if you need higher than 75 ppm — go to 8595i II.
Full specifications

Every spec, no guessing

The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6575i II is a 75 ppm A3 monochrome multifunction for enterprise departments and shared print rooms doing high-volume tabloid B&W work. Duplex DADF feeds two-sided originals in one pass, output runs 1200 x 1200 dpi, and paper handling around 4,700 sheets standard expandable via high-capacity feeder. Optional finishing covers Staple Finisher, Booklet Finisher, and Saddle Finisher with stapling, hole punch, booklet making, and trim. Wired Ethernet and USB, optional Wi-Fi. Security includes McAfee Embedded Control, AES encryption, 802.1x, and Secure Print. The regret on this machine: imageRUNNER ADVANCE Gen 2 ('II' line) is previous generation — the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 6700 series is the current equivalent with uniFLOW Online and refreshed UI. Refurb 6575i II units are workable with 24-month toner locked, but the support gap is real at this volume. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 60,000-page range. uniFLOW Embedded handles secure release print and pull printing, and optional CAC/PIV card readers integrate with government compliance environments. The touchscreen UI uses Canon's iR-ADV Gen 2 interface.

Supplies & consumables

Toner, yields, and what to actually reorder

The #1 question we get on this printer is "which toner do I buy?" Short answer: you have two cartridge options and a drum. Standard yield TN830 covers roughly 1,200 pages. High yield TN830XL covers roughly 4,500 pages and is the better value for most offices. Pick XL unless you print very little.

The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.

If you lease this printer through us, toner and drum are included. You never pay for supplies separately. That's usually the better deal once you add up real costs over 3 years.
