The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4545i is the original (Gen I, 2016) 45-ppm model in Canon's 4500-series A3 mono laser MFP family and the speed-tier where the Single Pass DADF-A1 first becomes standard equipment. It prints and copies up to 45 ppm on Letter (32 ppm on Letter-R, 25 ppm on Legal, 22 ppm on 11x17), with first-copy-out as fast as 3.8 seconds and true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. The standard 150-sheet single-pass duplex ADF scans at 160 ipm in B&W or color — that's the meaningful upgrade over the 4525i and 4535i, where the same ADF is optional. Standard paper capacity is 1,180 sheets across two 550-sheet cassettes plus an 80-sheet stack bypass, expandable to 6,330 sheets with the Cassette Feeding Unit-AN1 plus Paper Deck Unit-F1. Max monthly duty cycle is 175,000 pages; the realistic recommended volume is 8,000-25,000/month.
