The Canon imagePRESS C810 is the middle member of the modern C710/C810/C910 platform — 80 ppm Letter (40 ipm 11x17, 38 ipm 12x18, 33 ipm 13x19), 2400 x 2400 dpi via R-VCSEL laser imaging, and a 1,650-sheet standard / 7,650-sheet maximum paper capacity. Paper-weight envelope is 14 lb. Bond to 110 lb. Cover (52-300 gsm) standard with validated duplex up to 130 lb. Cover. First-color-out is 7.7 seconds; the engine prints automatic duplex on any supported stock without slowing down on heavy covers. Choice of three controllers: external imagePRESS Server H300 (Fiery), embedded imagePRESS Server G100 (Fiery), or PRISMAsync Color Print Server. Same 60.2 x 36.8 x 56.1 inch chassis as the C710 and C910 — buy at 80 ppm and you can step the same machine up to 90 ppm (C910) or down to 70 ppm (C710) without redesigning the floor. Inline finishing includes Staple Finisher-W1 / Booklet Finisher-W1 (25-sheet uncoated booklets), Multi Function Professional Puncher-A1, Perfect Binder-E1, High-Capacity Stacker-H1 (6,000 sheets). The thing buyers regret: skipping the embedded G100 in favor of the external H300 to save money up front. The H300 is more powerful, but the G100 keeps your equipment count down and saves a server-rack footprint that's easy to underestimate.
